Position: Sales Agent
Description:
Are you an experienced sales and customer service professional looking to apply your skills in a bustling and growing industry? Petra Building Solutions Inc. is looking for Commercial and Residential Sales Representatives to expand our products into new markets.
Petra Building Solutions focuses on providing the best advice on green building techniques, products, and supplies, to the provinces of Quebec and Ontario. We capitalize on our deep knowledge and understanding of the most recent green building standards to deliver to our clients the best products and advice on green building structure and insulation, ventilation systems, heating, windows and doors.
Responsibilities:
- Educate prospective customers on the range of products Petra Building Solutions offers
- Develop the market in the assigned territory through:
- Calling architects and engineers to offer product solutions
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers
- Providing estimates and advice based on the plans provided by the customers
- Organizing webinars to present products
- Gather market information and relay it to senior management
Requirements, Skills, and Competencies:
- 3-5 years of experience selling in construction or a related industry
- Experience using online channels to generate sales
- Experience in dealing with home owners – Direct sales experience is an asset.
- Ability to read plans and provide generate take-offs
- Ability to travel
- Fast learner and self-starter
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Language requirements based on assigned territory (see under Regions) – Bilingualism is an asset

Regions:
We are looking to fill positions in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Quebec City. While these are work-from-home positions, regular meetings will be held online.
Knowledge and experience in these markets is an asset.
