Radiant Heating System
Frequently asked questions

All you need to know about Radiant Heating System
  1. What is radiant heating system and how does it work?
Radiant heating system is one of the oldest methods of heating. Simply, hot objects radiate heat to colder objects without warming surrounding air.
  2. What are the main advantages on radiant heat system over conventional heat systems?
Radiant Heat Systems are easier to install, so that will save you money on labor. The system itself is cheaper than most of the conventional heating systems in the market and it is more efficient in terms of energy consumption. Other benefits include better indoor air quality, as the system does not rotate air and dust, it is also easy to design with, blending with its surrounding or even being completely invisible.
  3. What is the advantage of using our system over other radiant heating systems?
Since our system system is a panelized system it is much easier to install and less labor intensive compared to wiring radiant heating systems and hydraulics. We will provide you with a complete heat loss analysis on a room-by-room basis to make sure the system meet exactly the heat demand of each room, to avoid under or over sizing the system.
  4. Where can I learn more about Thermaray’s Heating System?
You can contact us directly to ask any questions and we will be happy to chat with you and learn about your project.
  5. Is there a cost advantage of using Thermaray's Heating System?
It is estimated that using an electric radiant heat system will save you about 30% of your heating costs compared to forced air or convection systems. Installation costs are less than 50% of any other system in the market. There are virtually no maintenance or parts replacement costs during the lifetime of the system. Finally, the system does not require compromising space to accommodate a large mechanical room unlike most of the other systems.
